V -     Et datum est illis, ne occiderent eos, sed ut cruciarentur mensibus quinque; et cruciatus eorum ut cruciatus scorpii, cum percutit hominem.

VI -    Et in diebus illis quaerent homines mortem et non invenient eam; et desiderabunt mori, et fugit mors ab ipsis.

VII -    Et similitudines locustarum similes equis paratis in proelium, et super capita earum tamquam coronae similes auro, et facies earum sicut facies hominum;

VIII -    et habebant capillos sicut capillos mulierum, et dentes earum sicut leonum erant,

IX -    et habebant loricas sicut loricas ferreas, et vox alarum earum sicut vox curruum equorum multorum currentium in bellum.

V -    Se les dio poder, no para matarlos, sino para atormentarlos durante cinco meses. El tormento que producen es como el del escorpión cuando pica a alguien.

VI -    En aquellos días, buscarán los hombres la muerte y no la encontrarán; desearán morir y la muerte huirá de ellos.

VII -    La apariencia de estas langostas era parecida a caballos preparados para la guerra; sobre sus cabezas tenían como coronas que parecían de oro; sus rostros eran como rostros humanos;

VIII -    Tenían cabellos como cabellos de mujer, y sus dientes eran como de león;

IX -     Tenían corazas como corazas de hierro, y el ruido de sus alas como el estrépito de carros de muchos caballos que corren al combate;

V - They were given power not to kill but to torment for five months. The torment they produce is like the scorpion when it stings someone.

VI -  In those days shall men seek death and not find it desire to die and death shall flee from them.

VII - The appearance of these locusts were like horses prepared for battle on their heads were crowns like gold, and their faces were like human faces;

VIII -  they had hair like women's hair, and their teeth were like lions;

IX - They had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings like the noise of chariots of many horses running to battle;
